Haircare is one of the most important and crucial aspect of everything beauty especially in the changing environment and very active lifestyles. My hair is my crowing glory along with being a major aspect of stress in my life. With numerous hair treatments over the years my hair has lost it’s elasticity, sheen and overall health. So now all my focus has been in enhancing the wellbeing of my hair not only from within but also from the outside.

And just as the Indian-Mumbai weather turned into its drier and harsher variant, Wella Professionals launched the ‘Elements’ range and I was one of the luck few #MumbaiBloggers who had direct access to the event and the products first-hand. The Elements Range of products are inspired by all things ‘Natural’ and keeping in tune with the theme the venue was thus decorated. The fact that the range is sulphate-free, paraben-free and with no artificial colorants made it a winner at first glance.
During the launch Dr. Kerstin Meyer-Lipp, Wella's Innovation Expert set up a mini-lab and took us through the correct way to using the newly launched products that are full of natural ingredients. The Elements range consists of the Renewing Shampoo, Lightweight Renewing Conditioner and Renewing Mask. The range is perfect for those who want to go in for a natural and healthy haircare regime as compared to any other to revitalise hair through nourishment and nature. Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur was present to launch the range and made some hair-raising hair confessions and vouches for a more simpler more organic range of products.

Since the launch I’ve tried the product a couple of times and have found it to be strengthening hair and nourishing the hair roots as such that there is considerable less breakage and the overall hair looks shinier and healthier.
The range works towards building the principal component of hair, Keratin a protein that acts towards renewing hair vitality. Since the products are Sulfate, paraben and artificial colorants free and infused with the NuTREE complex it enriches the hair texture with natural tree extract a powerful antioxidant which helps reduce free radical damage. NuTREE is sourced from Germany, and the natural tree extract has anti-irritant properties to balance and calm the scalp in case of sensitivity and allergies. I’ve seen visible difference in my hair texture and it’s given a bounce to my hair.
Until next time,

You never know when an idea might strike you, which is why notebooks are a great thing to have at hand. It helps, of course, that the kind of books and organisers available today are beautifully made, with thick paper and elegant covers. If reading this is making your heart beat a little faster, then you’re probably a stationery addict.
Enabling addictions is usually not a good thing, but an obsession with stationery is hardly dangerous. So if you’re online shopping in India from sites like Rediff.Com, you should take a look at these gorgeous notebooks that are available. Indulge yourself!
Batik Beautiful
This gorgeous set consists of two notebooks that are softbound and beautifully made. The outer covers are printed with images of camels and traditional batik print motifs on a pale grey background with an uneven black frame. Adding to their charm is the thread woven onto the covers, which makes them look quite rustic. The leaves inside are made of cream handmade paper and are the perfect canvas for all your scribbles-big and small.
Leafing It
Every stationery obsessed person knows a notebook collection is not complete without a spiral bound notebook, especially as simple as this one! Made with recycled paper, this notebook is a cure to all your guilt about paper usage. You can save the trees and add to your collection at the same time with this cream spiral bound. If the recycled paper isn’t immediately obvious, the cut-out leaf design on the cover should be evidence enough of your love for nature.
Patchwork Perfect
Bored? Add a little colour to your day with this vibrant notebook. The cover is made of pure cotton cloth patchwork to give you this bright notebook which is sure to lift your spirits every time you look at it. The paper is recycled and all the fibres and dyes used are organic, which makes them biodegradable. A notebook that is a 100% recyclable and looks this good? Sold.
Chic And Efficient
Sometimes you just need a classy, plain notebook. This one has an artificial leather cover that makes it look sleek and elegant. This is a notebook that guarantees your productivity with its ruled sheets and inner sleeve to hold any important papers or cards. The leaves are ruled and dated, so you can make sure all your notes are neatly organised. Hold it all together with the magnetic clasp that keeps your notebook closed.
Delicious? Noted!
This tasty looking chocolate notebook is not edible but definitely smells like it. The cover is made of plastic, which makes it sturdy enough for you to carry around just about anywhere. What makes this even more portable is how compact it is. Just slip it into your bag and use it for those ideas that must be jotted down before they slip away.
Royal Leather
For the days when you feel like royalty, this tanned notebook with a peacock embossed on its cover is the natural choice. Nothing says functional luxury like leather, especially when it’s got such fine detail embossed on it. As a bonus, this notebook is handcrafted, so you can be certain that it will be a unique piece of work. The leaves are made of cotton rag handmade paper, and the closure is a C-lock, so you can be certain that all your thoughts will remain private.
So, what are you waiting for? Add to your notebook collection by visiting Rediff.Com today!

Everyone has a few #TravelTales that keeps them going for a lifetime; either by way of a memory or a dream that keeps the traveller in them going. I too have loads of travel memories as I love to travel. Last year around this time I was invited by Gujarat Tourism to experience all about the #RannUtsav and blog about it. The trip has become a benchmark for all my travels with its gorgeous locales, amazing home-stays and above all piping hot and spicy Kutchi cuisine.
Though it hasn’t been a first for me in Kutch as it happens to be a place my ancestors hail from; it has by far been the best trip. There was so much I gained from it as a person and as a woman. It took me back to my roots in ways unimaginable. With a culture I had never experienced, with the people I had never met, with the customs I had never practiced I felt at home. The trip was the first time I was exposed to the traditional form of clothing; dance and music and I was surprised that I fit into it so beautifully. Just like this trip, #iCynosureTravels has many more gems in our travel kitty, and those need not be actual travels. Sometimes we travel just with a song we hear or a movie we watch.
Over the years there have been so many songs that instantly connect me to a place or an adventure. And that's what happened to me during the music launch of the movie Jugni, starring Sugandha Ram and Siddhant Behl. When music maestros AR.Rahman and Vishal Bharadwaj took to the stage talking about the musical journey with Clinton Cerejo the film’s music composer; I actually travelled with them into the musical land. Travel is the storyteller in the movie that takes the protagonists on a musical journey of discovery to help reconnect with themselves.
As travel enthusiasts and #TravelBloggers, a few of us had an opportunity to talk about our #TravelTales and #DreamDestinations with the lead stars at the movie's Travel Partner TUI’s Mumbai Store. I shared my #TravelTalesWithTUI as I've already travelled to some of my dream destinations including Egypt, France and UK; expressing my desire to travel next to my dream destination New Zealand.
Who knows I may get to go there with TUI!
And if you want a chance to go on a musical journey of self-discovery you must participate in the #TravelTalesWithTUI contest by sharing your travel journeys with them.

Memory slips are the worst things that can happen to anyone. I personally know how frustrating it is when I misplace my keys or the phone charger, or when I can’t remember where I’ve saved a document and with what name. More than the loss I regret the time I waste looking for it or trying to remember where I last kept it. It takes many precious moments from the day to rerun the schedule, retrace the steps and figure out where I would have kept it. I promise to be more vigilant, more careful and never be so absent-minded so as to misplace something, but it sometimes doesn't work. And trust me I am not the only one who is so forgetful; there are many who are equally absent-minded and hit by amnesia from time to time. Case in point my baby sister.
My little sister literally drives us all insane with her recurring episodes of forgetfulness that are absolutely maddening. This morning she frantically woke me up at an insane hour of 5.30am and started blabbering, “I woke up for my run but now I cannot find my iPod.” Ouch, I thought you're waking me up for your stupid iPod, go run without music today. She coaxed, threatened and finally pleaded with me to help her look for it and so we looked and looked and looked. We rummaged every drawer, flipped every cushion in the house and checked all charging plug points. But the little devil was nowhere to be seen; I wanted to scream, 'Go without it what’s the big deal'?
But she went on and on literally turning the house upside down and still nothing. Now it was almost 6.15am and all I wanted to do was to crawl back into bed when her monologue began.
"Yesterday I came back from my run with my iPod and went for a shower. I got dressed and then had breakfast, soon after which I went to college. Once I came back I went up straight to my room and did some project work while listening to music. Just before dinner, I cleared my table and then after dinner, we went to sleep for a few hours. Where could it be?"
As soon as I heard this, I went into her room picked her college bag and handed over her iPod from it. With a huge frown on my face, I went to my room and slept.
Over the years I’ve started to accept my shortcoming and devised a plan to keep at least my precious things safe and sound. Sometimes my tried and tested methods work and sometimes they don’t. And to counter those few instances when the method doesn’t work I’ve started to think about bringing the concept of an everyday locker system into use.
Godrej’s Goldilocks is India’s first-of-its-kind personal locker for everyday use to store your daily valuables like keys, credit cards, watch, wallet, and everything you think you tend to misplace. I think my forgetful sister and everyone like us would benefit from a locker like this to ensure we never misplace or lose any important and precious things and moreover don't trouble anyone else to find them. The advantage of the locker is that it’s compact and portable and a key to one's forgetfulness.
Gold, isn't it?

As a music lover, the one thing that I look out for in an album is versatility; it could be lyrics, composition, genres, rendition and the voices. Very few albums boast of ticking all these boxes yet keeping the music the cynosure of it all. The very essence of the music albums must be to render quality hummable numbers that touch the soul. For Hindi music fanatics, the names A.R.Rahman, Vishal Bhardwaj, Rekha Bhardwaj and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan are the epitome of music renditions and not brought together as yet.
Yes, as yet. But the unbelievable has been achieved by Music Composer Clinton Cerejo for writer-director Shefali Bhushan’s debut film Jugni. Jugni which means firefly in Hindi is a story of the free-flying spirit Vibhavari; a music director working on her first big break in the film industry. As the plot moves ahead she hits the road travelling all over the country in search of a voice that will stir souls. Her travels bring her to Bibi Saroop whose voice holds a promise that she is searching for. But as fate would have it, Mastana - Bibi's son becomes #TheVoice that finds a way into her heart. Striking balances, making tough decisions living through the unpredictabilities of life and finding home makes for the brightest flight.
Coming back from the film plot to the music launch; I was delighted to see the line-up of singers featured on the album. While most of the lyrics have been written by Shellee, the prayer song ‘Lakhon Salaam' sung by Rahman has been written and composed by Kaashif Sahib. The music has been recorded on Dolby Atmos that offers real-life audio experience and of utmost importance for a film like Jugni whose core is music. During the music launch, Shridhar Subramaniam of Sony Music and Ashim Mathur of Dolby Laboratories expresses their please to be part of the album that is a coup in itself with the talent that Clinton managed to bring together. All the songs are gloriously sung and filmed in authentic locations as well. My favourite track from the album it is a song of #TravelTales #DuggDuggiDugg sung by #VishalBhardwaj, the first for him to sing outside his own musical direction.
A dream musical pull off with the biggest names in the music industry, Shefali in her debut film has managed what seasoned filmmakers only dream of. Talking about the two tracks she says, "The prayer song sung by Rahmanji comes at a significant, pious moment in the film when the male protagonist goes into a deep emotional space to reconnect with himself while the song DuggDuggi by Vishaliji has been sung with so much ethos it’s a delightful listen".
I’m going to sign off to let you be mesmerised by Vishaliji's voice …

I remember a point in my childhood when I turned to someone and said, "When I grow up I want to be a....". Those were the days when I ended the sentences with words like 'teacher', 'doctor', 'lawyer', etc. However, these days children no longer aspire to take up traditional professions and are looking to land in unexplored territory. And this is true for practically every little child.
Case in point was the day we went to KidZania Mumbai; a place that allows children to be whatever they want to be... doctors, pilots, racing car drivers, firefighters, chefs, radio jockeys, rock-climbers. My little girl #PrincessHeer went playing various professions from one to another and enjoying it to the 'T'. Even parents have aspirations for their children and so do I, however, I was surprised when one day a couple of weeks ago #PrincessHeer announced that she wants to grow up and be an ice-cream taster.
As true to their nature, children have new ideas every day and one day as she returned from school she said she wants to grow up to be a pilot. I realised that children today have innumerable career choices and as parents we should encourage them to follow their dreams with confidence and without worry. However what most parents, forget is to be prepared both emotionally and financially for the decisions children make. When #PrincessHeer started talking about her future, we realised it was high time we did our homework and check our readiness for the future.
Going through some information, we came across the new investor education awareness campaign #DoYourHomework by Axis Mutual Fund that encourages parents to start investing early by investing through a Systematic Investment Plan. All my arguments with my husband about still having time to save for #PrincessHeer's education went flying out of the window when I saw the estimated current cost of the courses and then the target amount for the same courses in the years to come on 'The Homework App'. We realised that we had already lost a couple of years and we needed to begin as soon as possible.
As a parent never take your children's aspirations for granted and plan for your child's future in time. And incase you are not sure, take the #DoYourHomework experiment and share the results with us on social media with your plans for your child.
Until next time,

When I received the invite for the Tata Zica Launch in Goa, I just couldn't hide my excitement. The only thing stopping me was leaving my little princess behind in care of others. But that’s when the man in shining armour came to my rescue and I literally ran out of the house to catch my flight.
The day began with a challenge when my booked cab did not arrive and I had to rely on the #Mumbai auto rickshaw to get to the airport; and that was the beginning of all things #madeofgreat. In a few hours I arrived at Alila Diwa in Goa. What followed was an awesome weekend full of fun, awesomeness and loads of surprises for all of us. Over the two days I had many experiences and here's what shone through:
DESIGN
The initiative taken by Tata Motors was a sure shot winner right from the onset. A program outlined for India's top 50 bloggers to experience the hospitality, technology, innovation all at once with a chance to drive the brand new ZICA much before the entire world can get their hands on it. Honestly I felt humbled and definitely most privileged to be part of such a wonderful pool of talent from across the country; flown out from our respective cities into the hottest location in the country, Goa to be treated like royalty is nothing short of a dream vacation. The activities lined up for us were not only informative but also exciting and fun to executive. What started with a warm informal blogger session with the team anchored by Anoop and then Cyrus, followed up by an informative Masterclass by a panel of knowledgeable experts.
Being able to hear the passion in the voices of the brains behind the marvel at a specially organized class was wonderful. The program though a bit tight in schedule was perfectly in sync that helped us get the best out of it. Truly Spectacular! A fun beach tour and dinner later off we were to dream about the Zica to wake up the next day to get our hands on the super sleek vehicle. With Flag Off almost on time, we began the drive; an exhilarating ride with what we do best; take up challenges and go crazy on social media. A mention is warranted for both the Tata and Indiblogger teams for an innovative approach to a blogger program and the way they strived to achieve excellence in the event flow is highly commendable.

DRIVE
Oh where do I begin? It was the moment all of us were waiting for, and after much wait it arrived early Sunday morning. A brief about the controls and the must try features and we were set to hit the road. It was a treat to try every new feature available. Switching modes, switching from the driving to passenger seats, exploring the vehicle inside out, stopping at scenic places to take pictures and super selfies and made it a #Fantastico drive.CONNECT
The blogging world is all about relationships and what better way to connect than at a meet? What I really loved about the Tata Zica #Fantastico Blogger Meet was the way they brought the blogging community together to enjoy not only the product but also the company of other bloggers. The fact that we were referred to as the top 50 bloggers of the country brought wonderful happy smiles on all our faces time and again. Not only were Tata Motors forthcoming and helpful in resolving our queries, trying to fulfill our requests but also were willing to walk that extra mile to help us achieve the objective of the event.Meets are usually organized by numerous brands but in a way that it becomes competitive amongst the bloggers, however Team Tata and Team Indiblogger both gave each of us the space, attention and the respect that we deserve. The meet has helped me connect with bloggers, Indiblogger and Team Tata in a very personal committed manner, strengthening our ties and forming friendships like never before.
On my way home, I was thinking to myself that Tata Motors should continue organising these meets. After all I've done the Tata Zest, Tata Bolt and now three times lucky the Tata Zica meet too. I had the most fabulous weekend, and you? Tell me what was #Fantastico about your weekend and I'll send some lovely Goa souvenirs your way.
Until soon,

I am sure every parent will identify with what I’m about to say. Mornings are a race against time, especially where children are concerned as they take almost twice the time to do everything. From waking them up to sending them to school you are on a shoe-string ‘time’ budget practically every day. No matter how early I wake up, there is always something I have to ask my husband to do. The one task that I assign to him is to make sure #PrincessHeer finishes her glass of milk. Trust me that is by far the toughest task these days. My husband has amazing patience with our daughter and it completely baffles me with the variations he includes in her milk by way of flavours and tidbits. But still, the time she takes to finish a glass of milk is way too much.
But luck was on our side and princess discovered Sipahh during a stroll in the Uppercrust Show in Mumbai last weekend. Have you heard about Sipahh Flavoured Straws?
Sipahh is pure magic! They are flavoured straws that make milk more delicious and drinking milk more exciting. Sipahh straws invented by an Australian father Peter Baron who wanted to ensure his kids get the wholesome goodness of milk without the artificial flavours, colouring and sugar; turns plain milk into flavoured milk. The straws have flavour coated beans inside which when sipped on, mix with milk to give some amazing flavours. Currently, there are 12 flavours available.
#PrincessHeer shows you how to use the Sipahh Straws in 4 simple steps:
What I really love about this product is that:
1. It can be used in milk and milk substitutes; namely soy milk, almond milk and even yoghurt.
2. It has no artificial colours and flavours; and no preservatives.
3. It keeps the wholesome goodness and nutritious value of milk intact.
4. It contains less than half a teaspoon of sugar per straw.
5. It is individually packed, making it convenient to carry around.
And now, here’s what PrincessHeer loved about the product:
1. It turns milk into flavoured milk.
2. It has a lot of flavour options to choose from.
3. It allows multiple flavours to be used at once.
It is a really great product for kids who are fussy milk-drinkers and even for those kids who have allergies and intolerances as the straws are compatible with substitutes as well. In India, Sipahh is available in most modern hypermarkets and on BigBasket and Amazon India.
Now no more running behind your baby, just give them the Rip-Dip-Sip Sipahh and be assured you will never have to say, ‘Finish Your Milk’.

ICasa launched Calia Italia, a renowned luxury interior brand at their Lower Parel furniture house a few weeks ago. While speaking to Mrs. Abha Gupta, Ideator & Inceptor ICasa I got to understand that ICasa is a brainchild of her experience of limited luxury furniture products available in the country. While redoing her home a few years ago she found it difficult to source the right products that combined quality and finesse as per her taste; and thus ICasa was born to bridge the gap.
Calia Italia's philosophy emphasises a spontaneous synthesis of style and simplicity to bring out the beauty within the simplicity, always to match style with comfort and finesse. The products are a balance between geometric lines and tridimensional shapes with a contemporary or classic style guaranteeing the skilled work of master artisan detailing minute elements and unique factors that define the brand ethos beyond the tactile and visual perceptions.
At the launch Ms Abha Gupta opines, "We are pleased to be associated with a brand whose aesthetics are synonym to the brand value of ICasa. We at ICasa constantly aim at delivering luxury that speak comfort and elegance. Having made its mark in the European market, am sure they make a mark in the Indian market and the customers would love their craftsmanship."
Mr Domenico Nicolett, Export Area Manager, Calia Italia shares, "Calia Italia’s association with ICasa is very strategic and is a long term partnership which I believe is requisite in any association. Our motto is not just to sell the products but also step by step to spread the word about the philosophy of Calia Italia which I believe the team ICasa will put forward faithfully."
An exquisite range of living room furnishing extended to cosy armrest chairs and the likes available in warm tones from beige to cream and similar soft colours, these are sure to grab attention and admiration from one and all; but subtly.
Discover the elegant, homely and lively furniture’s of Calia Italia at ICasa.
About ICasa-
ICasa is a new concept in modern furniture design targeting the upwardly mobile consumer who is looking for style statements with an additional dimension of comfort. The brand ICasa houses furniture from Natuzzi Editions, Calligaris, Dom Edizioni & now Calia Italia. At a glance, the store hopes to invoke visions of masterful sensory modernity. The furnitures itself are at times nuanced and sober and at times boldly eccentric. The pieces illustrate the power of design to stir memory and to incite your imagination to create living-spaces.
ICasa offers high quality, well priced products. The store is based out of an 8000 feet store located in the heart of the city’s furniture and interior decor Mecca, Raghuvanshi Mills Compound in Lower Parel.

The world is evolving, but everything is getting closer thanks to technology. However, the evolution is not restricted and has upgraded our phones as well. From the landline phones to the mobile phones and now to the very very smartphones. There is hardly any person who today doesn't have a smartphone whether it is required or not.
Smartphones have taken the world by storm but it has a lot of storms to endure itself from time to time. After all, it is a device and needs to be maintained against a lot of issues including being hanged, virus, space constraints, etc. These days there is an app for practically everything and be rest assured there is one for maintenance as well, the 360 Security Lite App. 360 Security Lite App offers three main tools of boosting performance, cleaning up space, viruses and optimising power usage and various features like Android Speed Booster, Junk Cleaner, Intelligent Power Saver and Exclusive Booster, that will keep my phone new for a long time.
On download I was first impressed with its file size that takes up only 4MB space with 3 tools of Boost, Clean and Antivirus that's makes it simple to use and navigate through to the desired section of the app. The moment I ran the Boost tool, the app inspected the apps that were already running on the phone and the battery usage to optimise the battery life.
Anyone who uses a smartphone knows about the number of junk files that get stored in the internal memory and it does need a clean-up from time to time. The Clean-up tool in the 360 Security Lite App detects the files and cleans the cache to offer additional space, not the phone.
Every electronic device risks viruses and malware that comes with usage from downloads and shares through other apps, chats and emails. The Anti-Virus tool of the 360 Security Lite App secures one's personal data and the phone from the attacks of various types of viruses and malware through a thorough search of all files on the smartphone.
I’ve reviewed the 360 Security Lite App and believe that it is an all-in-all app which is a great entry level app to protect your phone that is free to use, takes up less space on your phone and simple to use. Apart from the 360 Security Lit App I personally use a lot of other apps. However, I have a few favourites, as below:
True Caller: This app is a god-sent especially for people like me who get a zillion calls a day. The app allows you to see the contact who is calling you, even if the contact is not on your list, but is on a list of one of your contacts. So it becomes easy to check who is calling and whether you should take a call.
WhatsApp: This app is a perfect tool for this fast-forward times, that allows you to instantly connect with the contacts in your phone at a single click. The app allows users to send chat messages, pictures and videos to one's contacts.
Instagram: My most used and most favourite social media app is Instagram which is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service enabling users to take and share pictures and videos.
