Trend Alert: Statement Sweaters

It’s officially sweater season, a time to get cosy and comfortable. But what if I help you to get comfortable with loads of spunk and style, won’t it be awesome? So here’s to throwing out those boring sweaters that did nothing but protect you from the cold, and pack in some cute clothing and statement pieces from Ninacloak that I’ve been eyeing for a few weeks. 

Riot Of Colours

If you don’t have that sweater which is a colour explosion, you sure are missing out on one of the sweater trends of the season. How else would you stand out in your regular blue jeans or that oh so normal office slacks? When paired with a neutral bottom the colours will seamlessly blend into each other and balance the entire look. 

Speak Of Volumes

Don’t shy away from those gorgeous pom-poms, trumpet sleeves, ruffles, bows and more. These add an amazing drama to the entire silhouette in a voluminous way. The best way to carry this style is to keep the rest of the look simple with minimum accessories, neatly tied hair and of course a simple, clean-cut bottom to balance the volume. 

Embellish It Already

Not a lot of people can carry off an embellished outfit, let alone a sweater. But this season is about taking risks and so get those pearls and gemstones around the collar, or pick something with contrasting sequins. The beauty of this look is about going overboard and so the best way to style it will be with leather pants or a gorgeous high slit skirt. 

Print On Mania 

There have been a lot of adorable prints that make everyday women's sweaters on sale go like hotcakes. Either print on print or embroidery on print or even embellishments on print all work wonders this season if the look is to be subdued. Also how about picking some dark florals this season which is yet another very trendy style to flaunt.
