Recently I made the trip from home to the Kama Jewellery Boutique in Andheri for the unveiling of their special cut diamond jewellery collection, oh on a #DateWithDiamonds. Jewellery has evolved over the years with statement pieces replacing over-the-top traditional sets. And that's what the new collection in cushion and emerald cut diamond jewellery from Kama is all about.
The humongous boutique cum office-factory outlet had a distinctly Indian yet a contemporary and modern feel to it, buzzing like a live beehive full of activities. Just like dreams are made of, I was surrounded with beautiful glass display cases ozzing out black velvet jewellery busts displaying unique pieces of art. Aside from the amazing collection which is what I'll speak to you about in a minute, my favourite part was a 1200 square feet factory visit to familiarise bloggers about the jewellery making process. As we were being taken through the process I kept thinking to myself about all the efforts and the manhours put behind each piece. And that's when I realised that the price we pay for each piece is well worth it!
Now back to the collection, each piece from the collection is a stand-out demanding attention but not overpowering the wearer. The spectacular collection comprises radiant fancy cut jewellery offering a killer combination of luxury and glamour. What stood out for me, was the signature style of fancy shapes of the cut diamonds set in 18kt white and yellow gold. The new collection with these special cuts capture the beauty of each shape, each one equally stunning yet distinctively unique from the other. Just the visual presence of them all, at accessible length, transported me to a completely different world, a royal land as it's queen. I was already dreaming.
When I first received the invite from KamaJewellery for a #DateWithDiamonds - a Blogger Preview Program, it was like walking on water. Did I really think I would be able to see it before the rest of the world? But yes I did, and for some time I couldn't tell if I liked the jewellery more or the wonderful people from the company. But now I am assured by myself it was both.
I just couldn't resist myself from trying on a few pieces myself and my heart fluttered at the sight of some gorgeous earrings that I believe looked fetching on me. Secretly I named the collection,
HEER - ALL THINGS PRECIOUS
Back home as I reminisced the wonderful day spent in the facility, I was immensely thankful for being invited to the event as part of a privileged group. If you ask me the designs are truly in a league of their own and a mighty treat for all eyes. I highly recommend a trip to the Kama Boutique in Mumbai for the approaching festive season, but again who really needs a reason to shop? Seeing and trying them on to my heart's content I'm all set to drop hints to hubby dearest after all my birthday is drawing near!
Until diamonds and more,

On the go, on the go,
I'm a girl on the go.
Seeking life's tiny pleasures,
Making them into wonderful treasures!
Running from every pillar to post,
Learning tough life lessons the most.
Ensuring memories and ideas aren't lost,
So that I can flaunt them and proudly boast.
On the go, on the go,
I'm a professional on the go!
Working towards a rising career,
To celebrate a successful golden sphere.
Finalising presentations to make a that killer pitch,
Realising it's #TimeToTransform and make a switch.
Reports, emails, projects and boring research on google,
But what really takes my heart, is the time I doodle.
On the go, on the go,
I'm a homemaker on the go!
Channeling all my energies homewards now,
To make every pretty corner look 'wow'!
Connecting with old friends and sharing a laugh,
All this while directing and managing the house staff.
Grocery shopping aided with an online food calculator,
Juggling artifacts to be a self-appointed decorator.
On the go, on the go,
I'm a Momma on the go!
Reading tips and learning new tricks of the trade,
And getting used to gorgeous baby hair to braid.
Being an over-enthusiastic parent at best,
Tuning into my baby's schedule for my rest.
Watching videos and memorising the tunes,
Omg I'm being a kid again and watching cartoons.
On the go, on the go,
I'm a Blogger on the go.
Regularly updating my social feed,
And hitting every key to be in the lead.
Documenting my eureka moment each time,
Making sure my poems make sense and rhyme.
Flooding my twitter and instagram each day,
With pictures of lipsticks, dresses and hairsprays.
On the go, on the go,
Oh no! I'm not on the go!
Why should I let an idea or a moment go,
Just because my laptop is not a pro.
I can't stay glued to a desk just like a clerk,
It's time to venture out and go berserk!
Grab that laptop and pass it on to the the kids,
Grab that laptop and pass it on to the the kids,
While I go out and marvel at a Transformation bid.
The 2-in-1 Ultraportable Transformer Book T100,
Is a genius that lets me on unknown roads tread.
A superior performer that has started a trend,
Backed with an 11-hour battery that refuses to end.
Whether it's fashion or it's the home ration,
The small package allows me to follow my passion.
It's finally time to stand out from the crowd,
Make heads turn as each of them get wowed.
Work on the laptop and then slide out the tablet,
That works as a treasure box of my creative outlet.
On the go, on the go,
Oh Yes! I'm a Transformer girl on the go!

A couple of months ago I reviewed a great hair care range and thought to myself, "I've finally found my amazing magic portion" as it revitalised my hair with a natural shine reducing hairfall, giving my crowing glory wings of its own to fly. Just as I was living my dream fantasy I was sent a review package of another hair care product range, TRESemmé.
My first thought at receiving the TRESemmé Split Remedy system was ... "Nah. Not now, let me stick to what has worked wonders for me". Happy with the way my hair had shaped up in the last month I decided to give the new range a miss and there it sat on the bathroom shelf for family and friends to use.
However, faith had other plans. With an amazing history with TRESemmé and experimenting with the Ramp Ready Hair, I finally gave in to my impulse and tried the range.
What is TRESemmé Split Remedy all about?
TRESemmé Split Remedy system claims to gently cleanse and moisturize hair in a way that it becomes healthy-looking and manageable while reducing split ends up to 80% after a few uses. This unique system uses an innovative Reconstructing Complex and binds split ends, thus over a period it fixes the damage as and when it occurs.
What are the Key Ingredient?
The Innovative range contains Silicone, Amino-Vitamin Blend and conditioning ingredients. All these ingredients from the formulation work in synergy to reduce split ends of the hair fibre. The Silicone in the formulation has the ability to form a lubricating layer on hair fibre. When hair is treated with shampoo and conditioner this layer helps to coat hair fibre to help bring hair fibres and split ends together. This layer also helps to reduce friction between two fibres and improves hair alignment. The blend of Vitamins - Vit H, Vit B3, Vit C and Vit E along with lysine, polyelectrolyte complex (oppositely charged polymers) work towards bringing split ends together.
How is the Range packaged and priced?
The range is packed in easy to use flip-cap, contrasting black and white bottles. Available in various sizes, the 90 ml bottles work best as they are convenient to store and travel-friendly. The range is priced economically at INR 175 each for 215 ml.
My Experience with the TRESemmé Split Remedy Range
My first impressions of the TRESemmé Split Remedy seemed like any other haircare product range but giving it time was the best decision ever. Over a period of a couple of weeks, I realised it is a product made for the professionals but aimed for everyday use by everyone. A salon professional range, both the shampoo and conditioner are a consistent thick texture and mildly fragrant.
The shampoo is near perfect doing everything that is expected of it. It lathers and foams great and is needed in little quantity as it cleanses both dirt and oil in two washes. The conditioner is perfect for my hair type as it doesn't weigh my hair down. With the formulae, it does mend the split ends and gives it a salon-like feel. With carefully infused ingredients like Amino-Vitamin Blend, Keratin and Bition the range is a winner on it's own. However, for some, the presence of Sulphate may be a dampener due to the huge debate going around on the effects of sulphate on hair.
I usually trim my hair once a month to avoid split-ends and keep my hair healthy and strong, but after using the TRESemmé Split Remedy range I don't feel to go under the knife every monthly. Using the range for a few weeks has definitely reduced split ends giving me sleek, visibly smoother hair with almost mended split-ends. It feels like the product seeks to repairs split ends that cause rough and damaged looking hair. The technology works to give me smoother, less frizzy look that ensures I don't have to cut the beautiful ends short!
Product Strengths:
§ Does what it promises
§ Mends split-ends and reduces further damage
§ Nourishes to smoothen hair
§ Infused with amino vitamins and keratin
Product Weaknesses:
§ Presence of sulphate
Will I purchase the range again for personal use? Yes Definitely
Will I recommend the range to my friends and family? Sure thing!
So I'm all set for salon style hair at home every day! Are you? Leave me your opinion about the range if you've used it. Shoot any queries or drop in your suggestions.
Until next time,
~ Heena
