Vodafone launched 'Vodafone U - The Mobile Destination of Choice for 200 million Indian Youth’, a first of its kind lifestyle proposition designed to map the gap ad offer the youth a world of connectivity with friends and fun via the world of internet, voice and music. Pegged at being the one point of connectivity in the increasing growing on-the-go generation, Vodafone U is the perfect #FunWithU experience.
In line with the youth centric theme of the product, the launch was as much fun as expected with three leading YouTube icons coming together to collaborate and create content. During the launch Kanan Gill, Raftaar and TVF performed their song and completely rocked the stage and lit it on fire. Don’t believe me, here is a glimpse for you.
Sandeep Kataria, Director - Commercial and Arvind Nevatia, National Head - Consumer Marketing spoke at length about the huge youth client base and the new product thats poised to the ‘Connector’, ‘Enabler’ and ‘Entertainer’ between the youth and their mobile in a seamless and enriching way. Vodafone’s deep understanding of the pulse of the generation enabled them to develop a product like Vodafone U that bundles exciting offers with benefits and experiences.
Being a Vodafone customer for the longest time, an avid internet user and in a profession that needs connectivity 24/7 the best takeaway for me from the launch of ‘Vodafone U’ are:
Data Allowance: A plan that allows night surfing at special rates so you don’t miss out on the fun.
Data Loan: An option to loan 60MB data for 2 days when you run out and need some in emergency.
Unlimited Music: An unlimited download of music absolutely free for 2 months for you to stock up on.
Just as we were getting drenched with the amazing offers, the Hard Rock Cafe boys got onto the platform and started an impromptu gig.
